Tim has been teaching drums in for 15+ years. Whether you’re a beginner, an intermediate player, or a veteran professional, Tim can guide you on your way!

Drum lessons may cover the basics, like how to hold a drum stick or how to tune your drums, but Tim goes beyond that to give each student a comprehensive skill set that will carry them throughout their drumming career.

Topics beyond the basics include working on recording drums, producing drums, repairing drums, modifying drums, managing drum-centric social media outlets, and generally building a life around the passion of drumming. Tim has taught topics like economizing a social media content creation workflow to drummers like Valerie Franco (Kylie Minogue, Hayley Kiyoko, K.Flay). He has also worked with drummers including Michael Urbano (Third Eye Blind, Sheryl Crow) and John Wicks (Fitz and the Tantrums, Bruno Mars) on similar topics and social media optimization.

Online lessons

Tim teaches drum students around the globe. Generally, this is done over Zoom, but if there is an issue with the student using that platform, there are plenty of additional web cam-based options to allow or video drum lessons.

In-Person lessons
